Hey, I am Zahra. In AMU I did XI to MBA (batch 2005). I came to London last year March. Found it good, but India is the best! I keep on missing all the goodies back home.
Recently I got a job as a business analyst in a financial softwares firm in the city.
Still more to do....London mein apna jhanda gadna hai!!

Myself Humair Khan, I graduated (B.Arch.) from Aligarh in 2002. Worked in India for 1 yr and in Dubai for almost 4 yrs as an Architect. I felt the need of masters and tried my luck in England, completed my MSc.Construction Project management from University of Central Lancashire, UK.(2007-08).

Presently i am working for KIER Group in Kent as an Assistant Design Manager. My physical association with A.M.U lasted for 17yrs where i studied in Minto, +2 and Engineering college (so i am a bit khayyar) and the emotional part of it will stay forever...

Please donot hesitate to contact me specially the youngsters from construction background who are looking for career horizons and educational needs in UK.

25/m/MSc in Structural Engg./Working in Atkins being Graduate Engg./Living in London/Single/5'7"/fair/Very Notorious/funky/Leo. Sir/Mam any thing else would you like to know, please do give me a shout.

I had a great time at AMU, which can not be described in words.
I started my journey from City High school in 1996 and got suspended for indefinite period in high school 1999 and had complementary too in high school but anyhow I got through to +2 PCM in first attempt. Lucky though!
I had golden time my life at +2, had 7% attendance in 11th but clear pass with Urdu as a back lock. I don't any idea about 12th it fust flew away from hands. I have no clew where I was and what I did. Just I know I passed +2 with 61% in first attempt which was not expected from me by anyone. Neither do I.

Eventually get through to Z.H.Engg College being nice and changed shiraz, but shiraz get change is not possible. lol

Engg. Has done in first go with distinction. wow! On the other hand I had awesome time to lead my Engg college team to All India game festival and it was great Honour
Privilege. I was honoured as Captain of ZH Cricket team with Full Jugar. Never mind that was not that case. I have had participated union election and was short to have enough love of myAMU students, anyhow I had 1700 votes, which was enough to live life with honour.

Finally in 2006 I left AMU after clearing all fee and Udhars.

Straight away I came to UK to do MSc in Structural Engineering in 2006 because I was not enough competent to get a job there. lol!
So I thought, It’s not a matter of my honour. I have to carry AMU prestige image with me. I was sad. So I end up with "Student Award 2007 of Scotland in Geotechnic Field"

Now Working in Europe one 1st and World 3rd Company Atkins............will carry in with life. Coz show must go on.

well, I m Mohammad Moonis, Chem engg 2001. Though was directly associated to AMU for 4 years only, being an external candidate but have felt part of it since long before, due to association of family with it.

Now, been in UK for just over 6 years... As with most of us here , came as student and then UK didn't let me go :).

Did MSc from Uni surrey, Guildford and worked for 2 years in the same region, then 2 years in picturesque peak dist and now in Tropical Scotland.

Really missing South, Not many Aligs here. Was quite active in Alumni activities in South ( AMU alumni meet kingston - youtube) and then I got married . :)

But still, always here to do my bit for the group, the Alma Mater and any fellow alig who needs help of any kind.

Hope doing very well...

I got admitted to the department of history, AMU Aligarh in the year 2000 as a B.A. (hons) student. After finishing Graduation in 2003, i joined the MTA but later on in 2004 left it to Join MSW in Jamia Millia Islamia. In a way some of my best memories are related with the duration of 2000-2004.

After MSW from JMI, I joined Wipro CSR (Azimpremji foundation) Bangalore. I worked here for two years.

Now I am with you all here in Uk and pursuing my MBA from Buckinghamshire University.

Hello everyone, i am Gulrez, i have been privileged to be in AMU from 1996 to 2008, did 10+2, MBBS, MD from there.I was in Sir Shah Sulaiman and Hadi Hasan halls.
After studying for all these 12 years in AMU, i am still a student here in Sheffield university doing a masters course in public health and will also do another masters course in public health next year from Copenhagen..
